This model combines a hand-tufted, edge-stitched border with a wool-and-cotton comfort layer and a high-count pocket spring core, creating a premium, traditional feel that complements other classic Vispring mattresses while emphasizing natural materials and craftsmanship.

The top layers use bonded Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton (1,350gsm against the ticking), followed by a second wool-and-cotton layer. The core features a 1,716 hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system with calico cotton around each spring to reduce movement and improve breathability.

The border is upholstered with protective wool and reinforced by two rows of hand side-stitching, providing edge firmness and a sturdy boundary that helps maintain the sleep surface across the full width of the mattress.

Use this mattress as you would with a high-end pocket-sprung model: ensure it is placed on a suitable supporting base and allow it to decompress and settle to its natural shape over time. The hand-tufted construction helps anchor fillings to prevent shifting for a consistent feel.
